Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing well and that you have enjoyed some refreshing moments throughout this summer!

With the start of the school year just around the corner, I wanted to touch base and let you know that we will be having our Safe in H5 Fall Meeting at the end of August (see details below). 

Applications, Course of Study forms , and payments are due Sept. 1. You can bring them to the fall meeting …or send them to our POBox …or take a picture and email them to me. (Addresses are listed on pg.4 of our application.)

(Note – if you have friends who want to join H5, we’d love to welcome them for the 2026-27 school year! We are accepting new member applications now and will continue to throughout the whole year.)

** FALL Kick-off Meeting **

When? Tuesday, August 25, 2026

Time? 6-8:15/30pm

Where? Three Rivers Baptist Church in Irmo (7452 Broad River Rd, Irmo, SC 29063)

Bring? a snack to share (bottled water will be provided)

What to expect? 

6-6:30pm – Doors open for food & fellowship and submitting applications

6:30-7:15pm – Large Gathering (announcements, devotional, & prayer time)

7:30-8:15/30pm – 5 breakout sessions to choose from:

1. Homeschooling in the Elementary Years

2. Homeschooling in High School

3. Exceptional Learners

4. Q&A panel

5. Teen Heart group (still TBD)

** All Jr moms **

In Safe in H5, the junior moms plan our homeschool graduation ceremony. 

At the fall meeting – either during the break (7:15-7:30) or at the end of the fall meeting (8:15-8:30) – all Jr. moms will meet at the back of the sanctuary for a brief meeting to begin discussing the 2027 H5 graduation ceremony that will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2027 at Three Rivers Baptist Church. Sr. moms are welcome to come as well to mention any special requests.
